My last official weekend as Neighborhood Church’s worship leader

Av2
This weekend is my last chance to officially lead worship at Neighborhood Church of Redding before taking a new post in Temecula, California.  This transition is bitter sweet with missing relationships, but my plan has been to have as much fun in celebration as possible.  After all, there are so many amazing people, changed lives and shared history that to not celebrate would be bad.  So, I end my four years here with a "bang"–literally.

This Sunday we are doing something I have never done before–two drumsets and drummers for the worship set!  Beyond the dueling drummers, I am not going to give away any other details, except to say that a couple of the song choices will have special meaning for me about Neighborhood Church.

Please come by and say "hey" this weekend.  I would love to thank you for being such a great congregation to serve and for being such a loving group of people to share life with.

Hey man – hope it went well.

Said a little prayer for you this morning. It was early so you were probably still sleeping. I hope the prayer gave you good dreams or something! :)

Walking the halls of church today felt like something (someone) was missing, even if it was a Monday. Thanks for the great memories of working with you and I look forward to seeing how God uses you in Temecula. I couldn’t possibly be any hotter there.
