On the road…Temecula or bust
We are moving! This picture is of our moving truck… all 12,500 pounds of stuff. It is amazing how books and stuff can add up, since we do not have that much furniture. We are driving again today (Tuesday) and will get to Temecula, get our keys and wait for our movers who will be there on Wednesday (we hope, barring any breakdowns, etc.)
Traveling in two cars with two kids and a dog made it critical to
stop last night in Santa Nella (about 280 miles north of LA). Today we
trek the balance of our trip after we peruse the breakfast buffet at
our hotel. Of course we picked a hotel that has free wifi.

Thinking about you and praying for you during your big move! Two days drive? And California always seemed to me like a nice cozy little state. Back home in England, I can get across the whole country in four hours.

Already missing you guys! I gave Kathy a bunch of bubble wrap this morning to help her over the hump. Drive carefully, watch out for moving vans and other large vehicles!
