Traffic…in real time

I am bored and stuck in traffic on my way home from the church office. Ugghh… I have some sympathy for those who see many more brake lights than I. What is your commute like?

Dude–you wanted to live in SoCal. Myself, I’m usually home in <5 minutes. Maybe a little more if I get stuck behind a watermelon truck or something, but it’s usually not bad. Sometimes I really don’t mind living in a small town.

nothing better than winchester and jefferson at 5pm, oh yeah and Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 10:30.

Figured free marketing on your blog, giving service times and location:)

All kidding aside, could you imagine the 91 east bound everyday at that time, mad props to those who have to do it.

My commute consists of a walk across a dark parking lot…dodging bullets and drug dealers. Maybe I’ll start driving to work…

I’m starting to dread what I’m going to have to do in my commute when I finally find a job. The sinking pangs of dread tell me it will be somewhere in Burbank. But to be honest I’m more concerned about finding a job than a good commute.

I get to travel the 101 in Los Angeles, with an occasional connection to the dreaded 405 if there is a delay on the side streets. It can get ugly. It’s a great time to relax and listen to music or call my friends. I actually *like* my commute time. Go figure.

on my way to work there is virtually no traffic, its 7.15am, thats probably why, on the way home the traffic isnt too bad, becasue i miss the rush hour, but seem to hit a lot of school traffic

4 minutes – and I love it!!! Used to be 25-30 so we moved closer and now I could almost walk to church.

From one side of town to the other – 7 minutes!

ah well…life in so cal…my commute…one hour over a mountain, rain, snow or sunshine…with my xm radio or just some quiet time to listen to the one who keeps me safe.

i would think a bay area guy would be used to brake light commutes! :-)

Matt…you win out of all of who commented! The 280 N to 101 N from San Jose to Palo Alto I used to do years ago might have rivaled yours, but probably not.

My commute is about to go from 3 minutes to 15 minutes with my new job, which I’m excited about. The snow hit hard the last few days and when I went to go visit my wife at her job it took me nearly 25 minutes. Why? Three accidents on the highway.

I just found a back country road to my job – takes about 5 minutes and I get to peel out all over the place or just mosey on down…
    I’m blessed!
