Vacation day 4: Reagan Library, Airforce One and LAX

We saw the Reagan Presidential Library (our 3rd POTUS library we have seen so far) and the Airforce One exhibit.  Two things stuck out–the plane was cool and not as fancy inside as you would think (no mahogany paneling), and in the Oval Office replica a note I remember seeing as a kid on the president’s desk saying “It CAN be done.”

Also, the Cold War stuff is history and my kids are learning about it.  Really, those days were scary compared to today’s security threats.  I loved these two pics I put up on this post:  Leninade drink, and my son exploding.

A much better day, with a drive down PCH to LAX where we are staying.  Seeing the Getty museum today.

    Hey, haven’t talked to you in forever. I hope that you guys are having so much fun. It is rad to see that you are enjoying your family and teaching them cool stuff. I totally dig it. Yay for you. No, I do not remember the cold war. But it is cold here. We are in the middle of winter :) …So even though it is hit and miss with us blogging together you know what is a central theme whenever I come and check out your blog? Stuff about your family. You have always posted about your wife and kids and that is so so so fabulous. I totally love Godly men who uplift and adore their families. Yay you and yay for making them a priority especially since you are in full time ministry. That my friend rocks.
