I quit..

  • my ministry and give it to God, since it is His
  • feeling guilty for results I cannot control
  • limiting my dreams to small dreams
  • playing it safe
  • being myopic and look to the prize
  • thinking God is finished with me!

    I quit..
    - trying to do it all myself since He is in control.
    - worrying about things that He will take care of
    - evaluating just the music rather than the worship
    - letting myself get distracted
    - trying to “make” others grow
    - forgetting that love is a commandment, an action
    - forgetting that the Lord already has it all figured out
    - trying to tell Him everything He already knows, just listen

    I quit trying to put God in my very small box!
    I quit thinking God’s grace is controlled somehow by my behavior!
    I quit caffeine! (well, that’s probably one too far for today…)
