Worship Recap & Set List: July 27

Worshipsetlistbanner

RECAP: This past Sunday Greg continued the Superheroes series with the story of David and Goliath.  One cool thing we did was a spontaneous blues/gospel arrangement of “It Is Well With My Soul” that seemed to go over well today.  My daughter Emilie debut playing her Epiphone SG electric guitar in worship!  She did great!  Of course, dad is proud of her.  My daughter and I spent lunch at The Brook and chatted with some of the homeless and staff there.  It was neat to hear how much “fun” these people said they had coming to Sunridge and worshiping with us.  How cool is that?

SET LIST: Our songs this week are…

  • I WIll Boast – Paul Baloche
  • All To You – Lincoln Brewster
  • It Is Well With My Soul – arr. Sunridge Band
  • How Great Is Our God – Chris Tomlin, Ed Cash, Jesse Reeves
  • A Thousand Hallelujahs – Mark Roach

How was your worship weekend?

Comments

  1. “I Will Boast” must have gone over well last time. Great song! Cool to hear about your daughter.

  2. Hey,
Hey man, you may have already seen this, and opted to not do it, which is fine (I’ll forgive you!) … I’d love for you to consider doing your setlist/worship confessional as a part of a new “blog carnival” I started this week called “Sunday Setlists” … you’d just need to add the link back in your post above, and then fill out the “Mister Linky” to get some hits back here to your Setlist. Details are at:

  3. Gary Durbin says:

We did “How Great is our God” this week as well. One of the greats.

  4. Rick says:

Yep, you’re the 2nd one I’ve commented on who also did “How Great Is Our God” this weekend. It seemed to fit in with our message so perfectly. I’m a little jealous you did “I Will Boast”…I’m going to have to do a bit of arm twisting at my church to do that one, I’m afraid. Thanks for listing the set!
