Hey, we did Sweetly Broken as well this week. The reading of Isaiah 53 preceded our singing of that song which was followed by our communion time.We concluded this segment with The Stand. This segment was the most powerful for me personally. It was a very emotional time for me to be reminded that it was my ugliness that Christ took on. Thank you Jesus!!!

Craig...Not six months...three! We had our pastor gone for 1/2 that time is why. We do communion as a rule with the messages that fit it best. I would prefer a schedule, but it seems good to do it when it fits the context. The only downside is that it means we might have lapse in doing it if we do not check the calendar often enough.

I led worship for a Father Son Retreat up in the mountains this weekend. I was able to bring one of my boys up with me. It's was really great to have Dad's and sons of all ages crying out to God, dancing for Him, restoring relationships and reigniting passion.

Rich,

Curious about communion and the 6 month stop. What was the reason behind it?

Tonight, I'm going to meet with next week's leader, and I'm going to show him a couple of your songs, as well as a few others. Hopefully a Rich Kirkpatrick original will make it into our set list next week!
