Online Gaming and Prayer: Is that possible?

russ_hutto_online_gaming

Is online gaming and prayer possible? I think Russ Hutto thinks so. Check out his post: Can An Online Game Help You Pray For People?

In today’s world of social media, gaming is something that I think a window in reaching out to people can be employed. As I said in a workshop I presented at, “Remember there is a real person on the other side of that screen.”

BTW, my Xbox LIVE handle is reddinggamer! ;)

Thanks for posting that blog Rich. I play EQII when I have time! I have met a lot of real life friends through the game and they have been in my prayers for many things. I have friends that just had twin baby girls and they arrived a little early and had to spend time in the NICU, I prayed for them.

  2. Thanks for sharing! Its cool to hear what God is doing through real people with this stuff.

Hey Thanks for the link love, RIch.

I count my fellow “super heroes” as some of my better friends, even though I’ve never met them face to face. It’s been a great opportunity for share a little here and there about what I do and what my with Christ is all about.

The cool thing is I’ve never been one bit preachy and I’ve always just been “me” with the gang and I think for that they respect me.

It’s been a two year friendship that I really appreciate.
