Worship Recap & Set List: January 11, 2009

Recap: This week we started a series of sermons called “Bounce: Life after impact.” Job’s life was examined in light of what times our church and community lives in today. I am looking forward to how this series plays itself out and how God in general is going to use the hard economic times to shape all of us.
Set List: We focused the set of music on putting our source in the right place. “Be my source, me my light, Jesus.”
- Let It Rise – Holland Davis
- Awesome Is The Lord Most High – Cary Pierce, Chris Tomlin, Jesse Reeves, Jon Abel
- A Thousand Hallelujahs – Mark Roach
- You Pray For Me – Rich Kirkpatrick
- Be The Centre – Michael Frye
How was your worship weekend? What moment did God speak to you?

sweet setlist. We had a great set this week. Everyone was “on” and it was just one of those fun weeks.
Last night we had one of our leadership team speak at what we call a “leadership communion” which is basically a smaller gathering (open to everyone though) where we gather for communion and one of our staff shares a little. It was a great time. Some great truths shared last night.
Be the Centre – one of my favorites!
Rich,
What a great topic … are the sermons podcasted? Thanks, as always, for being part of “Sunday Setlists”!
That is a great sermon topic Rich – can’t wait to hear how it goes too.
And “Be The Centre” was one of our wedding songs…I’ve rarely heard it since!
“Be the Centre” was one of my son’s wedding songs. We always need to be reminded of that thought.
We were talking about Job last night in our School of Ministry.
Hmmm, I love to see how God weaves His hand all over the wrold.
Ooh. Be the Centre. Very cool.
