Worship Recap & Set List: February 9, 2009

RECAP: The best part of today was the baptisms. During 2nd service we even had a line. (Pic here). Well, it has been a while since we performed them, so many were ready to go. We also had another Tyler playing drums with us this week, given THE Kyle a break. Thanks Tyler!

I was out of town all week, so Mike, Jeremy and the gang handled things of course. And, they did so with out a hitch–including adjusting to last minute changes. Another thing, I have to thank Jim on our video team. He notices EVERYTHING and helped me see a blind spot today. You gotta love servants like that.

SET LIST: Bob co-led worship leading with me today. He is good and gets better each time. Next time, I am sure it would be better to sit out, but I enjoy him leading while I get a chance to sing backing vocals and play piano. Here are this weeks tunes:

  • Let God Arise – Chris Tomlin
  • Because of Your Love – Paul Baloche
  • Our God Saves – Paul Baloche
  • Everything Glorious – David Crowder
  • Mighty to Save – Hillsong United

How was your worship weekend?

Welcome home….guess we were all back in the saddle again. Good to make connections with you last week. Small world, isn’t it.

Be blessed this week as you get back to “normal”

  2. Paul Fowler says:

Great setlist! Sounds like you had a good day.

  3. jon mark says:

glad to hear that you weren’t leading after a week in nash-vegas…

when you’re “off” a week…do you still put the setlist together or do you have your other leaders do it for themselves?

  4. I wouldn’t call co-leading NOT leading or exactly being “off” a week… ;)

We put the setlists together as a team, btw… in this case though, Bob and Mike did it.

  5. Gary Durbin says:

we did “Everything Glorious” too…intrigued by “Because of Your Love”.

  6. Testing FaceBook connect – the setlist looks great .. thanks for being part of “Sunday Setlists”!

  7. I love “Everything Glorious” Isn’t it cool to be on a team? It was great seeing you this past week and your song was awesome! Talk soon, friend!

  8. **UPDATE: 78 High Schoolers for our first Sunday AM High School group, and 900 in worship on top of that. What a great day, indeed.

  9. Steff says:

We did “Our God Saves” this week also!
