Recap: Today the High School Youth Worship Team led us and my daughter, Emilie, was the worship leader. The group did great and I am so grateful that our High School Pastor Mynor loves the idea of empowering kids to lead, worship being just one of those areas. In just a year he has helped move our youth worship along by his leadership, collaboration and encouragement.

One of my early-stated goals was to create an environment in our church where a Sunday like today could happen. The quality and spirit of the morning captured well our value of ministering to the young and investing in the future.

I enjoyed both our Jr. High Pastor Erin Wible and High School Pastor delivering a tandem message today and helping us recognizing the 8th grade promotion and High School seniors who graduated. Kudos for you dedication guys!

I enjoyed bugging our production booth and got in trouble for conversing too loud in the booth. Go figure that would happen!

Set list: They picked some cool songs today–loved it! These kids ROCKED!

      the goal, I hope, is not invasion as much as deployment… or advancement!

      in other words, we need to see the passing on of our ministry and faith as a normal course of action where we send out so that when younger people begin to truly take the reigns we welcome it

    Dude, do you still have your job? She’s gonna steal it. j/k…seriously, thanks for sharing. God’s using her already, and greater things are ahead for her. We’re really trying to invest in our youth team as well. They’re leading in a couple weeks in our service. Great stuff.
