Do we lead worship to impress or engage people to life change? Leading worship is actually part of any pastor’s heart if we look at it that way.
As worship leaders we provide a safe place to meet God. We design experiences that are based biblically on truth, decoding the culture while engaging people in drawing nearer to God.

Recap: We accomplished going to our summer format of one service at 9:30 AM this past weekend. It was great to see the room full. Our room and presentation works far better with over 500 than with less than that. This Sunday, Nick Arbuckle helped lead–our summer worship intern from TX. Besides Nick, we had our keys guy fill in on bass (not his first instrument) and a new drummer added to the mix. With all of that going on I think it went great. (more…)
