Recap: This past Sunday we had our intern Nick help lead with me once again and had Teen Challenge represented by a men’s choir. It was moving to hear the stories of God’s power in the lives of these young men and then to see our extension to Teen Challenge through our own Mel Grams, our InTouch Pastor. Mel is quite a figure in our church, having served in ministry for over 50 years. (more…)
Recap: We accomplished going to our summer format of one service at 9:30 AM this past weekend. It was great to see the room full. Our room and presentation works far better with over 500 than with less than that. This Sunday, Nick Arbuckle helped lead–our summer worship intern from TX. Besides Nick, we had our keys guy fill in on bass (not his first instrument) and a new drummer added to the mix. With all of that going on I think it went great. (more…)

Britt Sipe was the emcee in a Letterman-like monologue and interviewed his life-long buddy Mark Trotter who delivered a challenging and timely message to us.
