Recap: This week was the beginning of a new era for Sunridge Community Church. Britt Sipe, our Interim Pastor brought it home with a message about change: Change Happens. The room was electric and once again I heard our people sing out, shout out and participate. God is about to do something very special during this season of transition. Recap: Today was a bit different in that we had three sermons. Well, we had three elders give a short talk about three events in the last week of Jesus’ life. What was cool about this is that our lay elders got to share today. We sandwiched a teaching about the Triumphal Entry, The Last Supper and The Crucifixion with music, communion and baptisms. By the way, I think about 40 people were dunked today! Also, my daughter helped me lead today. Each time I give her a bit more to grow as a worship leader and she seems to rise to the occasion every time. I cannot tell you how amazing it is to have your family serve with you. My wife was on screen duty today, as well. She does the images and switches the live video IMAG. (more…)
Recap: Sunday was another great day, with Greg finishing up the teaching part of our series and calling us to give love away. SUNRIDGE IS CANCELLING SUNDAY CHURCH NEXT WEEK and meeting at various service projects around the valley. We hope at least 800 will participate and then gather together for a celebration at 6:00 PM that night, November 16.
