Idea Camp: Cynthia Ware, me and you dialoging about social media and ministry

the_idea_camp

cynthiabiophoto4-150x150I must be sure to let you know about The Idea Camp coming up in just a week or so in Irvine, CA. Unlike most conferences, the participants together make the expert, rather than talking heads who tell you what to do. This new kind of thinking seems to be a better way to learn best practices in a think-tank format not too unlike the cre:ate conference I attend each year.

This conference is truly open source–free admission, user participation and collaborative. Cynthia Ware, an author, blogger and speaker on technology and innovation in ministry invited me to co-moderate a discussion with her on participatory social media and the church–Saturday, February 28. To read about our session go here and be sure to sign up on the site to let us know you are participating!

Also please click over to The Digital Sanctuary, Cynthia has a blog post about the event.

Hope to see you at the “un”-conference in Irvine! You going?
