RECAP: Greg shared a message on Financial Fitness, and I had the amazing privilege of co-leading worship with my daughter, Emilie. We introduced two new songs, and it worked! Its a risk, but we are more than ready for some new tunes. Steve Fee & Vicky Beeching’s “Glory to God Forever” is singable and is just the kind of thing a church needs to say and sing! Parachute Band’s “Come Before” worked just as well for us. (more…)
RECAP: Staci Frenes was our guest worship leader and artist this past Sunday. Its safe to say that Sunridge loves Staci! Her songwriting and singing are known quantities to me over the years but I also learned how adept she is at leading people into worship. Recap: You can see the previous post and watch the behind the scenes video where dead mice were found. Besides that random thought, we had a great time worshiping together. First service started a bit funky with tech glitches and music glitches but the morning seemed to be electric and our people had an opportunity to offer worship. (more…)
