Worship Recap: Cannot believe its a new month and new sermon series already. Today we began a new series about the Sermon on The Mount entitled: “Change.” We are getting low in the drum area, so I am so grateful for friends in town with Craig of Venture Christian letting us borrow Tyler who did a great job with us today on drums. Recap: This week was the second in our series “Bounce” at Sunridge. We showed a video sermon of Bill Hybels about handling an economic downturn. RECAP: Advent, The Arrival is our series and theme. We used candles on a stand with the traditional 3 purple, one pink and one white candles. The stories of many trials were heard in this mosaic. All the bad news of cancer and divorce and rejection were put in the light of seeing the reality of God in even the toughest of circumstances. For me, this was one of the most moving and meaningful services we have had at Sunridge. I know, I have said that two weeks in a row. (more…)
